The rules of the road, written plainly.

By accessing and using AakarX ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

AakarX is a cloud-based budget management platform built for interior design projects. The Service lets you:

• Create and manage multiple project sites
• Track expenses across different departments
• Generate quotations and reports
• Analyse budget performance

New users are entitled to a 30-day free trial. During the trial:

• You have full access to all features of the Service
• The trial begins immediately on account creation
• No payment is required
• You may cancel at any time without charge

After the 30-day free trial expires, the organisation owner must complete a one-time payment of ₹5,000 (Indian Rupees) to continue using the Service.

• You gain lifetime access to the Service
• Payment is processed securely through Razorpay
• All payments are final and non-refundable except as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your account information stays accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information. However, you remain responsible for backing up your data.

The Service — including its original content, features, and functionality — is owned by AakarX and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unavailability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AakarX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We'll notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
